Venetian & Florentine cutaway

    剛學到的新知來跟大家分享一下,也還請比較懂得朋友多補充。原本的問題是:

    Do you know why they call those two different cutaway (round and the sharp edge types ) "Venetian "and "Florentine"?

    quote: To the best of my knowledge. The Venetian cutaway was developed in 1939 by The Gibson company and the term was used by them to describe the graceful lines of the soft cutaway. It has since been generically used to describe most all the cutaways.

    The Florentine cutaway came about during the 60's I am not sure of the year or the actual reason for the term. I believe it started with the ES 175 and is credited to both Ted McCarty and Kenney Burrell.
