I had one. As a matter of fact, I sold mine last week. This is an old-school pedal and it's very useful for single channel tube amp. It's made of top quality audiophile parts and all that but you absolutely need an all-tube amp (especially Fender Bassman) in order to get the best out of this pedal. Don't even bother to play it through a solid-state amp becasue it's not what this pedal is designed for. Besides, you need to play it at live volume - bedroom volume level just won't cut the mustard. In a nutshell, it's a bad-ass pedal if you know what to do with it; however, you must play loud all the time and that is why I sold it - just want to protect my ears a little more.
TMB的frequency boost (germanium side)雖然聲音很屌但用途很特定而且真的會很大聲. 不過它的clean boost 是宇宙無敵的乾靜和可以把tube amp的gain全面推出來而且clean up的很好. 有沒有考慮過弄個 Fuzz 來試試看? 尤其是 germanium-based fuzz用於 mid/low gain的情況. 我知道東方人很少用fuzz pedal, 但在美國有無數的Blues player用它. 真的好用!
