Five of the 6 sets combine to create 2½ chromatic octaves. The sixth set, the C Major Pentatonic Scale, is a subset of our C Major Diatonic Scale. The standard or higher octave ranges in length from about 1 to 2 feet. The bass octave ranges from about 2 to 4 feet. The Treble Extension Set ranges from less than a foot to about 8 inches long. The 1 3/4" diameter is a comfortable size to hold for young children and up through adult. Everyone can play them - and pro musicians think they're a blast!
