這次的 "類比不死" 新聞倒不是什麼新鮮事，只是因為彈吉他的人都瘋了。早期的echo 都是用 tape 的 loop 做出，據說發明人是頂頂有名的 Les Paul 先生(事實上應該孩有其他人)。Tape Echo 的聲音非常溫暖，又據說因為轉速會略有變化而顯得 delay 的尾音更有人味。只可惜 tape echo 和錄音機相當，要換帶子、清磁頭且不是很穩定，於是被數位 delay 取代。好笑的是，偏偏有人不信邪，硬是把相關產品在二手市場炒熱。現在連 Hiwatt 這樣的名廠也重新推出 tape echo。但希望 Hiwatt 能做好一點 (觀其規格似乎不惡)，以免彈吉他的人做場子還要一邊捲帶子。 <BLOCKQUOTE>quote:</font><HR> Custom Tape Echo from Hiwatt For those musicians tired of sterile and cold sounding digital delay units, Hiwatt went back to the classic solution - tape.
