請教各位前輩: 關於Mesa Boogie挑的這些管子中:6L6 GC，我能找到的有分STR420、 STR430(剛好在我的Dual Rectifier裡)、 STR440(現在Mesa Boogie Store正在販售款)， 想請教的是，這些不同型號可以混用嗎??? 比如說2 X 6L6GC STR430 + 2 X 6L6GC STR420 in Dual Rectifier........(當然是已配對的管子) 因為找不到這幾款之間的差異,Mesa的回覆也等了好久,煩請有經驗的人為我解答，感謝!!!
我不是前輩 不過 小弟不才 來分享一下 你這個問題 感覺有好幾個問題 為了要清晰 我就稍微仔細得聊一下 首先 MESA跟GT 或者 MARSHALL FENDER 都一樣 並不是生產館子的公司 他們大多委外 來幫他們挑選館子 或者是 自己有生產線挑選館子 過程大概就是 假設我是 MESA 我跟SOTEK 買了十萬隻真空管 十萬隻館子 按照數據下去配對 並且給他們一個 MESA 自己的型號 就是你現在看到的 STR 420 STR430 STR440 STR454 你的另一個問題是 可不可以混插 我自己的想法是 是不建議的 STR420 蘇聯作 八零年代軍規管 6N3S STR430 蘇聯作 SOVTEK 6L6XTW+ STR440 大陸作 曙光 6L6GC STR454 Svetlana 6L6GC 以上管子 製程 磨耗 耐用程度 可能都相當的程度上的不同 除非您是很強調族群融合的人 不然 還是都用同一型號比較安全 您很強調一定要買 MESA 管嘛? 還是聲音一樣就好 如果聲音一樣就好 上面有給你線索 你可以去四處找找 價格 一定可以比 MESA 漂亮相當多
DR 可以混插 powertubes, 只要 inner 或 outside pair 都是相同型號 可是如果是要實驗看看"混插"會配出什麼樣的音色出來, 我覺得都是 6L6 的管子來混插, 可能聽/感覺不出來差別 建議可以試試看 EL34 + 6L6 搭配, 不過因為 DR 是 fixed-bias 的設計, 就算是二代的 DR 有 "bias select", 如果要玩混插還是有些條件限制, 有興趣可以到 Mesa/Boogie 的 Forum 去找找更詳細的資料 http://forum.grailtone.com/index.php 或是直接到類似 EuroTubes 這類專門出售真空管的網站購買"混插配套" http://www.eurotubes.com/ Mesa/Boogie Tube Sales Reference Guide http://www.mesaboogie.com/Product_Info/TubeReference/TubeSalesReferenceGuide-11-10-08.pdf http://www.srl.utu.fi/~tke/MesaBoogie/Tube/mesa-tubes.html 除了管子型號有音色的差別之外, 要注意管子本身的 scale rating 也有影響 Basically, GT (Groove Tubes) tube with a #1 will distort sooner, and a #10 later. If, for example, with a mid range tube, say a #5, makes your amp start to break in the output section at a volume setting on the amp of "4", then with a lower number tube, like a #2, your amp would have a same sort of break into output distortion at say a volume setting of "3". With a higher tube, such as an #8, then you amp would stay clean to about perhaps "6" on the volume. High rating numbers are not more or less powerful, they just distort later. These are preferred by heavy rocker that want maximum clean output, as they get their distortion and tone from effects or pedals. These are not as touch dynamic. Low number tubes are very touch dynamic, and more suited for a lot of folks, for smaller venues and recording. Most folks prefer the 4-7 range tubes, as they are the closest in character and touch to what the amplifier designer had in mind. They are also the most versatile. The range of 4,5,6 are able to be used in Mesa Boogie fixed bias amps, and on the Mesa scale convert roughly to: Mesa scale --->Groove Tubes (GT) scale Red------------>4 Yellow--------->4.5 Green---------->5 Gray----------->5.5 Blue----------->6 White--------->6.5
非常感謝兩位大哥的回應，給了我方向... 因為才剛入手二手的Dual Rectifier，而後級管(Mesa 6L6GC STR430)就很剛好的其中一根壽終正寢，所以現在正在找尋新的tube入替，加上這顆DR無法得知已使用多久，所以正準備先全換過一輪Mesa挑的12AX7/5U4G/EL34 or 6L6，不過非常感謝大哥們的建議，體驗之後我會試著去找我想要的Tube(比如頗受好評的KT系列管,以及香腸哥所列這些大廠)，非常感謝!
