上面的 Chimes 做得很精緻，通常這類的東西是用來營造氣氛。那個 finger cymbal 常是買一對，可以弄在一手上撞擊，上面則是用掛起來的方式。finger cymbal 的聲音其實有點像 bell。Michael Jackson 有一首曲子就有用到 finger cymbal，聲音聽起來很可愛。 不過他們設計的 chimes damper 是有點 overkilled，也太貴了點。通常用手肘輕輕觸碰減震即可。 這類的小東西於打擊樂器中很多，金屬 chimes 算是比較貴的。有些這類的東西在一般商店也可買到，例如用竹子做成五聲的風鈴 (風竹？)，而且非樂器店賣的都很便宜。唯以竹子為例，缺點是於乾燥處容易裂，於像台灣潮濕環境也容易灣或有點聲音悶起。這種東西是花小錢買樂趣，用於音樂中，技巧好的話得以畫龍點睛，可以買來 玩玩。 以上請參考。
