請問大家知不知道s950的磁碟機如何用一般磁碟機跳線?我的磁碟機不知是不是掛了,想試試......也不知是不是os亂掉,有人知道如何dump os嗎?我知道os是燒在主機板上,可不可以找其他可用的s950拆她的os下來備份另一組給我用呢?謝謝指教......
請問一下Shay,是不是因為聲音真的不一樣,不然怎麼還會在用Akai S950？S950不是只有2Mb的RAM嗎？我聽說有些做舞曲的人就是要用舊的Akai,甚至還有用12bit 的,根本不玩giga、Halion那種超大的samplers,要的就是舊的硬體sampler的聲音。是這樣,有這回事嗎？
s950是86年左右生產的,主要用來sample鼓的音色,並不是說她聲音有多好了用了這麼久雜音一定一堆,而且當時比起sp1200,s770還是遜色一點,重點是因為她在當時是中價位sampler,加上options用起來又方 便,那時許多dj和producer都喜歡用它,想想看當時舞曲流行什麼,又肥又大顆的bd和sd啦,就是她的eq特色,output又多,當然變成業界的主流,然後流傳到現在....ram是onboard 750k,可加三條變成2.5m,用來作鼓很方便啦,當時12bit的sampler有很多,s950可以說把這些808,909帶到midi的世界然後被廣泛運用在舞曲市場......聽聽看這些95年後出的sampler,tone都沒她紮實吧!謝謝 指教!
I am a long term AKAI sampler user as well..... I use a fully loaded MPC2000XL at present,,,,,,,mainly for drum samples triggering,(similar to "sound replacer" in PT),,,...I prefer the way how AKAI samplers operating MIDI programs,,,projects,keygroups,filter....and above all,drum kits just sounds cool from AKAI..and very manageable in ADSR and EQ,,,,..!! and there is another cool funtion about MPC's SMPTE/MIDI sync,,,it just makes a lots of MIDI automation follow just about anything,,,even you do found MIDI delays from time to time,,,very fine adjustment in frame,ms orMTC, MIDI clock could setting off-set easily !!and solid stable in pratical,,, I guess the RAM limitation native makes AKAI could only afford essential percussive samples in once on early stage..this might also makes it more drum machine alike....Djs or rhythem programers might like to use 10 drum sets in one show gig,,,but no strings,no pad,no pianos,,,,,,,,so,,AKAI certainly is the best bet !!!!!....I guess !!
像ensoniq eps16+拿來做strings很不錯,只是操作有點麻繁,還有這時期用的磁碟機都是dd不是hd,我覺得很怪......用了十幾年該掛的都掛了,這些東西不好找,早知道磁碟機和ram都多買一份備用.....
