這陣子剛好摸到一把tom anderson 是classic....可是pick-up 卻被換成三顆Lindy Fralin S-S-H.... 只是那雙線圈外型像是gibson pick-up..有鐵蓋子的....據說是Lindy Fralin 仿gibson PAF的.. 嗯嗯..我對這pick up 不是很熟 所以也順便請教一下jeff版主.... 本想說怎有人把anderson 著名的pick up換掉 然後抱著姑且一試心態...借來彈彈 一試之下.. 那clean tone 竟是出奇的好.... 而且有一種完全和suhr v60'不一樣的聲音 （不好意思....因我是suhr v60愛用者..） 中低頻較緊些....但是很結實...顆粒分明 每根弦共鳴都很清楚..聽起來很舒服 並且是完全vintage single coil的聲音.. （因對我而言anderson上面幾乎是不會有這種聲音的........） 而原有的anderson電路版線路拿來切換後段雙線圈 變成單線圈.....也是我聽過雙線圈切成單的之後 唯一一顆聲音不錯的.....還有第四段也是... (當雙線圈切換成單時)....很有特色.. 若硬要說缺點那大概就是雜音...無法像anderson原來那樣乾淨 不過...我是不在乎啦..... 嗯嗯..難怪似乎jeff 版主對這pick-up 也讚譽有加... 只是想想大概應該也沒有人會買這種琴.. 再去換pick-up吧......
我只用過 Fralin 的單線圈產品，從來沒機會試它們的雙線圈；聽你這麼一講又讓人有點手癢，只是那個價格實在很難讓人下手，光是加個蓋子就要 10 塊美金...@#!#$ 轉貼一段它們另一個產品叫做 "UNBUCKER"，看起來挺有意思的： quote: This is our newest model of humbucker. It was developed because of the noticeable lack of high end on the wound strings of most side by side two coil pickups. This is caused by the fact the string is picked up in two places rather than one. We have made a humbucker that looks normal but sounds brighter on the wound strings. This is done with unevenly wound coils. (4k screw coil, 3K slug coil) It has a second benefit in that when it is tapped it retains two-thirds of its power. The down side is that it is only two-thirds humcancelling. We recommend that it come in a metal cover for shielding purposes. Shielding will help reduce the hum and excess high end.
