I want to change my triaxis setup for ( sorry my wrong taping) Carvin - Legacy or Lenay - VH100R [font=新細明體]請問有玩過這台的大哥們介紹這2台[/font]音色 請大家給我一點建議..謝謝
我運氣好 兩台都玩過 LEGACY可以去CARVIN網站聽~~STEVE VAI親身示範 就是那個聲音 VH100R可以參考ANDY TIMMONS在IBANEZ 90TH ANNIVERSRY表演的TONE 不過記得要把EFFECT的影響屏除~~ 他們的EFFECT都很好 小弟個人意見 參考參考
我剛好手上有Legacy,可以分成Head跟Cab來講. Head實在是無敵大聲的,很不適合家裡練習用,除非你家不怕吵. 接Legacy 4x12的聲音就是像Vai在Carvin網站上的Demo一樣,我覺得Legacy是屬於那種非常非常有個人特色(Vai的吧?)的聲音. Legacy有2個Channel,Clean和Distortion,兩者都很特別. 以破音來說,他算是High Gain但聲音不是那種非常破的,中頻有個很突出的聲音,和一般破音感覺不太一樣. 如果說,用整套Legacy的話,雖然破音很夠,但是我覺得那不太像是重金屬的聲音. 用EQ去調整的話,是可以有Metal的味道,但是個人覺得有點不太適合. 不過我有試過用其他Head或是前後級去推Legacy 4x12,它是可以搞成很Metal,很暴力!!算是蠻好用的一個音箱. 用了Legacy蠻久了,我一直覺得Legacy整套比較像設計成給Live用的!! Legacy Head本身就非常大聲,Volume開1/4就不想站在它前面了. Legacy Cab也是屬於比較難推的,雖然它不太挑Head,不過我一直感覺後級要推夠力才會把LegacyCab的聲音推開.
I use Laney VH-100R too, with Marshall 1960A cab. I think it's good enough to play most of metal or EVH style.
請問 gtxsjoe 兄, Legacy 可以做到類似Richie Kotzen 或者 Greg howe 在Tilt那類Solo的聲音嗎？其實我一直也想買一個可以玩到 fusion 的head 但真的毫無頭緒？因為我覺得大部份head的中頻，我都不太喜歡，請指教一下吧
My experience, both VH100R and 5150 can play real heavy shit,they just have different "character". To me, VH100R is more like "overdrive sound" and 5150 is more like "distortion sound". And 5150 II sounds heavier than VH100R to me but I feel more comfortable playing VH100R, just personal feeling. I don't think that legacy Head sounds like RK or GH but I've tried JMP-1+VHT2502 then into Legacy 4x12, I can get some cool funky sound or Fushion sound if I pick up a "right guitar" and twist JMP-1 well. For fushion guitar sound, I personally like Bogner Shiva or H&K TriAmp. They really have nice mid range sounds. Just my 2 cents.
Haha... I just came back from HK last week, I went to TxxLxx and play some amps there!! They have lots of Boogies and Laneys with neasonable prices. I also tried a GenzBenz EL100,a pretty good amp for Rock/metal and with very good price!! Sorry...I can't type Chinese now due to stupid MxcroSxft software just went crazy today...>"<
It doesn't matter la 其實香港Tom Lee只有很少代理，如果下一次你來香港都可以去 NELSON PIANO COMPANY G/F, 98 Hak Po Street, Mongkok, Kowloon, H.K. Tel: 2395 2960 Fax: 2789 0798 雖然Head不多，但都有很多Rack mount (不過多數是舊model) >_<
