我也有問題..我的GIBSON琴頸超直的..銅條幾乎沒磨損,為什麼用他的第一弦第五格推弦時,推全音...聲音都會斷掉..好像是被銅條卡的到聲音..我也試了一下其他琴..也是都剛好這第五格的第一弦推弦有這樣的狀況..請問這樣是正常的嗎??還是要拿去給人調整.....請大家為我和樓上的大哥解答吧!!感激不盡...

Again, in my humble opinion, there are 3 possible causes for your problem: 1-Your strings, especially the high ones, are too low. Try raising the bridge a little on that side. 2-High frets in the 9th~12th frets area. Fret leveling is needed to cure the problem. 3-Your neck is probably "backbowed" (too straight) like condition B below. It can be remedied by loosening the truss rod. Try loosening the truss rod by giving your truss rod nut a 1/4 counterclockwise turn (no need to loosen the strings) and see if you're happy with the result. How to check if your guitar neck has too much relief? Here's how you do it---With yourself sitting down and with your guitar IN PLAYING POSITION (don't do it with the guitar lying flat on a table because gravity will pull the neck towards the floor and make the neck seem straight) , press your low E string at the 1st and last frets at the same time. (Using a capo on the 1st fret will make it easier for you.) There should be a .005"~.010" distance (=space, gap) between the string and the 8th or 9th fret. In other words, the space there should only allow a thin business card to slide through. If you can slide 3 or more business cards through there, then your neck has too much relief. If the string is "kissing" the 8th or 9th fret, then your neck is too 'backbowed". Don't just look at the neck from behind the bridge because "looking" is never precise enough. Beware that a neck that is backbowed or dead straight will have fret buzz (打弦) on open string notes and notes at frets 1~5. A neck that has too much relief will have fret buzz on notes at the last frets (17~21 or 24). ***Sorry, I can only type English. Typing Chinese is too much work for me.***

我和我的朋友 用過的gibson共5把 有3把出現這種狀況~ 比例好像太高了...還是太衰了..哈哈哈 有standard.classic style. 學乖了~下次會仔細挑!! 還有調完neck還是無法解決~ 有資深修琴專家說這是body共鳴問題~ 國外也一堆這個問題~通常出現在升A或B這兩個音~ 可以嘗試換換金屬配件~也許會改善~ 不過我還找不到原廠之外的配件(琴橋.弦鈕等..) 如果有人換過而有改善可以分享一下喔~~thanks^^
Hi Mr. All Music In This Forum, As far as I know, fret leveling is the 1st step in a fret dressing process, which is followed by fret crowning. To eliminate fret buzz caused by frets of eneven heights, fret leveling is required to assure that all frets have the same height relative to the fingerboard when the neck is absolutely straight. It's done by laying a straight edge on the frets, across the 1st to the last fret and across the 1st to the 6th string, in order to find out which frets, under which strings, are taller than the others. Then, a fret leveling block of the fingerboard's radius is used to file out the offending fret tops. Once the frets are leveled, fret crowning is required to re-establish the 'crown' shape of the fret tops, with crowning files that have the proper inner radius. The fret ends at both sides of the fingerboard need to be filed to be smooth too. The final step is polishing and buffing the frets to be smooth and shiny with steel wool, wet sand papers and cloths. The build and finish quality of newer Gibson guitars is really a joke when you compare it to that of Rickenbacker, Hamer and PRS guitars, just to name a few. You can all blame it on this guy---Henry Juszkiewicz, Gibson's current chairman and CEO. He's been leading Gibson for 2 decades. All he cares about is making money. He doesn't care about maintaining the Gibson quality and heritage. The Gibson Legacy has deteriorated and is very much endangered because of this man's agressive cost-saving and profit-building managing philosophy.
